Bungay-based St Peter’s Brewery has made a surprising move and added a new handcrafted lager to its more traditional range of real ales, stouts and porters.
As part of the brewery’s efforts to expand its business into the global market, it has created St Peter’s English Lager, a premium alternative to the mass-produced lagers that currently dominate the bar.
St Peter’s is hoping to capitalise on its recent success at the EDP Business awards, where it won the coveted International Enterprise award for its bold new international strategy.
The brewery has increased its production capacity by over 60% in the last year and a half, and the new lager is just the first of three new beers to be unveiled in 2013. Watch this space for more news on this uniquely Bungay brand!
