Bungay’s street fairs are among the highlights of the local calendar, and 2017’s fairs are set to be among the best yet.
As usual, there will be three street fairs in Bungay in 2017, though the dates have not yet been announced. The first is the Garden Market Fair, which is usually held on Sunday 14th May this year. This fair is a true celebration of all that’s best about Suffolk life, with a huge range of stalls and activities. As well as the stunning flowers, there is delicious local food, fun and games for the kids, and much more.
Next up we have the Antiques and Collectors Market, which usually takes place at the end of July, and which sees a huge number of unique, quirky sellers fill the town all the way from Earsham Street. From antiques and collectibles to stalls selling all kinds of delicious food, the 2017 Bungay Street Fair is the undisputed highpoint of the town’s summer season.
The last Bungay Street Fair of 2017 is the Christmas Market, which is usually held on the first weekend in December. Though it’s last, it’s by no means least. The Christmas Fair is a great place to pick up gifts and festive food, as well as to just soak up the Yuletide atmosphere. With a loads of Christmas entertainment for kids and hot mulled wine for the grown ups, this is a great Christmas day out for all the family.
So if you’re looking for an exciting day out, make sure you don’t miss 2017’s Bungay Street Fairs!
