Old Bank Tea Rooms & Antiques in Bungay
Dave and Sue welcome you to the Old Bank Tea Rooms in Bungay. Come and visit us today if you are looking for a fantastic selection of home made, freshly prepared food – our speciality being the hugely popular Afternoon Tea served on a vintage 3 tier cake stand. All our tea (loose leaf) and ground coffee is blended locally.
The tea room itself is set up just like Granny’s front room with embroidered linen tablecloths, quirky china and furniture. We play foot tapping music from the 1920’s and 1930’s which creates a wonderful atmosphere.
More than just a tea room, downstairs we have a large collection of antiques and collectables and upstairs we have galleries showing an array of arts and crafts, all of which make for a unique shopping experience before or after your tea room visit.
The Old Bank Tea Rooms is centrally located in Bungay, opposite the Buttercross, which provides a wonderful backdrop from our impressive windows. 8 Market Place was a bank from the mid 1920s, hence the lovely wood panelling. The vault, complete with strong room and safe are open as this is where we display our antiques and collectables.
So if you are looking for a wonderful food and shopping experience, visit us today at the Old Bank Tea Rooms!
