Fresh from wowing West End audiences in the award-winning LES MISERABLES, where he played the iconic role of Jean Valjean, Daniel Koek has embarked on a national tour, and will be bringing his signature interpretations of pop, jazz and musical theatre’s greatest works to Bungay’s Fisher Theatre on April 9th 2016.
Daniel left the production to spend time on his new album release ‘High’ which includes songs by Josh Groban, Adele and Billy Joel plus the classic ‘Bring Him Home’, a duet with Jonathan Ansell.
Daniel is firmly established as one of music theatre’s leading men with a catalogue of roles to his name. He has performed to over 3 million people in five years.
Recent years have seen him play Tony in the 50th Anniversary production of ‘West Side Story’ and Anatoly Sergievsky in Craig Revel Horwood’s award-winning production of ‘Chess’, which toured the UK and Italy. Daniel then went on to perform Lt Cable in the Lincoln Centre Production of ‘South Pacific’ that premiered at the Barbican in London and Jason in ‘Jason and the Argonauts’.
2015 has seen Daniel perform at the Bedford Proms and take his West End show to venues in the UK, in Hong Kong and The Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Now booking shows for his West End Story and proms for 2016. For tickets to the Fisher Theatre performance, please visit the Fisher Theatre website.
