Easter Weekend In Bungay

With Easter right around the corner, it’s time to prepare for the annual chocolate overload. But once you’ve got everyone’s favourite easter egg sorted why not take advantage of some of the fun and exciting events going on in and around Bungay this Easter weekend?

As well as seeing what’s on at the Fisher Theatre, it is worth checking out local eateries- for example The Castle Inn will be offering a special set menu over the Easter weekend (makes a change from chocolate eggs and hot cross buns!)

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend the Easter Weekend, which this year is the 26th and 27th of March, then don’t miss the Bungay Farmer’s Market on Saturday 26th, where you can treat yourself and your family to a range of delicious seasonal local produce.

Bungay is surrounded by incredible countryside, so if you fancy an Easter walk, there’s no better place to be. Why not check out the section of the Angles Way walk which runs between Beccles and Bungay? With marsh, woodland and farmland views, this walk is a great way to spend your Easter Sunday. Why not park up in Beccles, walk to Bungay for a delicious pub lunch, then either walk back or get the bus? You’ll get to enjoy some of England’s most unspoilt countryside, and see two of its most picturesque towns.
