Town Springs to Life as Bungay Festival Comes to an End

Bungay has celebrated the end of its wonderful town festival with a glorious closing ceremony.


The annual Bungay Festival ended on Sunday with a bout of beautiful music from the Breckland Brass Band a stunning performance from Rumburgh Morris Dancers. Afterwards, the town’s closing ceremony for the festival included the lowering of Bungay Castle’s Bigod flag.

The Bungay Festival began on the 12th July with a children’s fun day and a Norwich Mozart Orchestra concert, and the whole thing included two fun-filled weeks jam-packed with exhibitions, concerts, talks and children’s events, providing entertainment for residents and visitors alike.
